We are a 24-hour, temporary residential safe place for up to ten children from birth through 18 years of age who are at risk and need refuge due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or are in need of supervision. Additionally, our agency provides outpatient mental health services and is one of hte few Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) providers in Southern Oklahoma.
There are no fees for shelter residential services and most counseling services and programs. A nominal fee may be charged for some programs to help defray expenses. Once eligibility is determined, no one will be denied services for inability or refusal to pay.
The shelter and prevention offices are open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Shelter and crisis intervention services are available 24 hours a day by calling 580-226-1838. Counseling services are available after hours by prior arrangement.
